If you remember “Do You Believe in Magic?” and “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind?”, you’ll be in the right place at the right time when The Lovin’ Spoonful comes to the Riv! According to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, between 1965 and 1968, the Spoonful spanned the genres of jug-band music, ragtime, country, folk-pop, hard rock, and orchestrated pop. Add to that “6 O’Clock,” and “Darling Be Home Soon,” and you’ve got the makings of one of the best vintage rock and roll concerts ever. The band features original founding members Steve Boone and Joe Butler, as well as Murray Weinstock, Mike Arturi, and Phil Smith.
The show will open up with Motown favorites, The Shades of Blue (“Oh How Happy”). Presented by Scotty Productions in association with Pop, Rock & Doo Wopp Live!
